Enclosure Warranty

Telcom-Data warrants that each of its standard Great Lakes’ products is free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. If within that period of time, goods shall be determined defective, these goods should be replaced or repaired at Telcom-Data’s option. Under no circumstances, however, will Telcom-Data be held responsible for any amount beyond the price of the product or any unauthorized “field” repair. Such correction or replacement of defective goods shall constitute a fulfillment of all liabilities in respect to such goods.

Advantage Warranty

Telcom-Data warrants that each of its standard Great Lakes’ products is free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ten years from date of shipment. If, within that period of time, goods shall be determined to be defective, such goods shall be replaced or repaired at Telcom-Data’s option. Under no circumstances, however, will Great Lakes be held responsible for any amount beyond the price of the product or for any unauthorized “field” repair. Such correction or replacement of defective goods shall constitute a fulfillment of all liabilities in respect to such goods.

Conditions and Exceptions

Our products are handled, shipped, and installed according to industry standards for metal fabrication and solid state electronic equipment. Claims under this policy must be made by the original purchaser. Electrical components provided by Great Lakes are warranted for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This applies to all power strips, fan assemilies, and blower units. All damages must be reported to Great Lakes within 72 hours after receipt of product. Claims beyond this time period will not be the responsibility of Telcom-Data. Any indentations, punctures, or other damages to the shipping cartons should be noted by the receiving personnel on the bill of lading to help protect our customers from possible concealed damages.

Shipping & Delivery

Telcom & Data  Prepay and Add:
(Carrier specified by Telcom-Data ) Telcom-Data pays freight charges to the carrier and adds freight charge costs to the product invoice. Telcom- Data offers this service without an additional handling charge; provided the customer agrees to the following conditions:

  1. Carrier is specified by Telcom-Data. 
  2. Telcom-Data  has contractual agreements with selected carriers to minimize shipping costs.
  3. Customer agrees to pay Telcom-Data all freight charges appearing on product invoices without requiring additional freight cost documentation.
  4. Customer agrees to pay Telcom-Data for freight costs associated with an order shipment, but not contained in the initial product invoice. (Telcom-Data will provide a separate invoice for this cost.) Example: is an additional cost from the carrier for inside delivery service required by the end user and not specified on the purchase order.
  5. Agreement to these conditions is implied when customer specifies prepaid freight when placing an order with Telcom-Data .
  6. Telcom-Data Inc. reserves the right to withdraw the prepaid option at any time.

2. Third Party Billing:
(Carrier specified by Customer) Freight is billed to a party other than Telcom-Data or the Customer. A third party account number or third party billing address is supplied by the Customer.

3. Freight Collect:
(Carrier specified by Customer) A freight account number is supplied or freight charges are paid by check at the destination site upon delivery.

Damages
1. Prepay and Add Freight:
(Carrier chosen by Telcom-Data )

  1. Telcom-Data is responsible for adding freight charges to product invoice and freight claims.
  2. Telcom-Data has the option to supply replacement parts, if needed.
  3. Telcom-Data has the option to have damaged product returned to Telcom-Data .

2. Third Party Billing:
(Carrier chosen by Customer)

  1. Third party customer is responsible for all freight charges and for filing all freight claims with the freight carrier.
  2. All replacement parts must be ordered with a new purchase order.

3. Freight Collect:
(Carrier chosen by Customer)

  1. Collect customer is responsible for all freight charges.
  2. All replacement parts must be ordered with a new purchase order.

Shipping Policy
If requested, Telcom-Data will provide freight estimates. Telcom-Data will not be liable for the accuracy of these estimates. Telcom-Data does not guarantee transit times either verbal or inferred -- these are estimates and should be treated as such. Telcom-Data  reserves the right to discontinue its freight estimate program at any time. All weights shown are approximate and obtained from standard packaging procedures, but skid weight is not included. Product specification, price and availability are subject to change without prior notice. Please contact us at our Edinboro office to verify orders.

 

Privacy & Security

We will not rent or sell your name, address, email address, credit card information or personal information to any third party ever.

If you have purchased from our store or subscribed to one of our newsletters, we may occasionally update you via email of special opportunities. We may also contact you if you have entered one of our contests or sweepstakes.

Returns & Replacements

We guarantee your satisfaction with all Telcom-Data merchandise. You may return any item (except special order items) within 30 days of delivery for a full 110% refund of the purchase price.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.

Ordering

Telcom-Data.com uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and will never release it to any outside organizations. We would like your shopping experience to be pleasant and safe; therefore, we use a secure shopping technology (SSL) to encrypt your personal infomration. If your browser doesn't allow communication through secure servers, please place your order by phone at 1-800-335-0229. Please do not email your credit card information since email is not encrypted.
